I had the hardest time identifying this bark. It was winter so there were no leaves and the branches started beyond 25 feet up, giving me only the bark – which looked just like cedar. My bark book didn’t help either. I found the matching jpg finally through an online search which was pulling from Mary Holland’s blog.
